The app provides access to 63 preset scenes across five categories — Classic, Festival, Moods, Landscape, and Life — as well as Color, White, Rhythm, DIY, Countdown, and Timer modes. Circadian Rhythm mode automates colour temperature changes across a customisable daily schedule. Touch Key Setup allows up to 10 pre-selected effects to be assigned to the base touch control, making frequently used modes accessible without the app. The app also supports automation rules and scheduling.
Voice control and connectivity
The Aetheo Aura connects to your home network via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi — 5GHz is not supported. Once set up in the DayBetter app, the lamp can be added to Amazon Alexa or Google Home without a separate hub or bridge. Supported voice commands include on/off, brightness, and colour changes. Bluetooth is used for initial pairing only and is not required for ongoing use.

I’ve been using this in my office and it’s actually been a great little addition to the desk. I really like being able to change the tone and colour of the light throughout the day – bright and cool for working, then warmer in the evening when things slow down.The built-in Bluetooth speaker is a nice bonus too. It’s obviously not going to replace a proper speaker, but for a £38.99 device it actually sounds pretty decent. Overall a fun and useful lamp that adds a bit of atmosphere to the workspace.Smart RGB lamps like this typically allow adjustable colour temperature and effects, including music-sync modes that react to sound to create dynamic lighting.
This night light comes boxed together with instructions and USB power cable. The light has no battery option so there's no charging to worry about, you have to keep it plugged in. The design is fairly basic, but build quality seems fine, it's all lightweight plastic so there's no premium feel but the capsule shape looks smart..Operating the light is relatively easy, it has touch controls but no remote so if you want to operate it from a distance you need to do it via the app. Performance and light quality is great, the light can be set to static colours or dynamic colour switching, including multiple colours at once. Brightness can also be adjusted so the lighting can be set to any mood.Overall I'm very happy with this night light, it does seem expensive but I find it useful being able to use voice commands, it's a good size and has a lot of different colour options.

I’ve been using this Smart RGB touch lamp for a couple of weeks now and it’s genuinely one of my favourite little lights at home.Right from the start I liked how easy the touch control is to use. A quick tap changes the colour and it feels responsive — there’s no awkward delay or guessing which way to press. And with 16 million colours to choose from, I’ve had fun trying different looks for different moods. Warm soft colours in the evening, brighter vibrant colours if we’re having friends over it’s simple but very effective.I also use the music sync feature quite a lot. When I’m cooking or just chilling with music, the light changes with the beat and it actually adds a bit of atmosphere. It’s not essential, but it does make the lamp feel more fun and lively.Setting it up in the app was straightforward and I like being able to change colours or adjust brightness from my phone. Connecting it to Alexa and Google Home was easy too — saying “Alexa, change lamp colour to blue” is way simpler than fiddling with buttons, especially when my hands are full.The battery life between charges has been good and the lamp itself feels solid, not flimsy. The light isn’t super bright, but it’s perfect for ambience and mood lighting.
